So I'm listening to Radiohead and reading some webcomics, before I reinstall Windows.
These are my blog-tastic notes for the Great Reinstall of August.
Right now I've got four hard drives with 3 partitions:
1) 2x SATA 80GB Seagate in RAID 1 as E:\
2) 1x 40GB Western Digital PATA with the OS as C:\
3) 1x 80GB Seagate PATA with more data as X:\
The new arrangement will have the OS on the SATA drives in RAID 0, plus two data drives. I just have 3984739875 things to do before I can reinstall. I have to find discs, updated drivers, move files, backup configurations, etc.
Alright, I've got the new NForce2 drivers, BIOS update, SATA driver disc, ATi Catalyst video drivers, CDRW firmware update, and the latest installers for all the essential software.
And now I'm backing up essential files and such.
Whoops... almost forgot to get the newer OpenOffice.
I wonder how well I can back-up all of my Valve games stuff... I don't want to lose my Half Life 2 game at all. That would really, really suck to have to beat that whole thing again... I want to skip to where I want.
I think that's enough with the notes... There's not much more to do, if anything.
Discovered this in the Penny Arcade archives. Ha. Still true.
Also, we're going to do this every night in The Cellar this fall, between 9:00 and 10:00. Come down and see us!
Well, I'll start this once I'm done eating dinner, which should get here in a few minutes.

Two guys from RadioHead are playing in the band 'The Wierd Sisters' in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie coming out in November.
(Jarvis Cocker of Pulp said) "There's six of us: me, three other blokes from Relaxed Muscle and Johnny and Phil from Radiohead."
Fun stuff. See ya!
